Gosh, what to say? Well, its warm and the WiFi is great. Oh, and the receptionist was helpful and friendly. But at 68 for a Sunday night for a room last decorated at least thirty years ago, its really pricey. Breakfast stops st 8.15! What is that about? And theyd stopped serving the evening meal at seven! The bath taps are sealed closed off with nuts, not terribly esthetically pleasing, the power shower is surface fitted, the furniture would be dated on Noahs Ark and I had to boil the kettle to get enough hot water to shave. The place needs like a zillion pounds spent on it. Best avoided, honestly.
Great location to stay at for exploring Morpeth and surrounding areas. Our overnight stay room was very dated but warm and comfortable with nice hot shower. Breakfast very good. Bar area very nice and cosy at any time of the day.
Nice pub but getting served is a military mission when its busy and that's if you can get the bar staffs attention.Haven't eaten here so can't comment on that side of things.Situated in the town centre, yards from the next pub its a good starting point for night out. Bus stops outside the Waterford on both sides of the road which is handy.Beer garden and sheltered smoking area out the backHas its own small car park through the archway.
Service was impeccable and the food was amazing. Even more so because it was steak night it was a real bargain. Great place to visit, highly recommend
Food was not too shabby, I have to say I thought the portions would have been smaller when I placed the order but my word the size of the portions were quite substantial. The taste was quite good too. Decent service, staff were very nice. Football on the screens went down a treat too!
