Very friendly and nice and quiet for chatting (apart from live band nights of course which are well attended and lively). Good quizzes every first Wednesday of the month.

Just popped in for a little tipple after a little shopping trip and was very surprised how warm and inviting it was we had bar snacks that were very good woyld recommend for a a relaxing drink

Best pub in the North East. Maybe the UK you would find a more welcoming pub. Love the staff love the vibes.
