Very busy pub serving nice cocktails and wines . Great atmosphere on a week end and food served looked delicious

First visit and will be back! Great place to visit - and Ryan (barman) is a total star!
Pre_ordered Boxing Day lunch for 4children and 7adults. Had to wait 3/4 hour to be served our starters then another half an hour for main courses. Food was generally good but the steak and ale pie not so. The meat was not tender and the pastry not flaky.The decor is lovely and cosy, clean and the staff welcoming.Maybe we will give it another try as we had read good reviews prior to our visit.
Delicious lamb dinner and our daughter got a free meal which she devoured! Stunning dessert with freshly made fruit sauces. Our pooch was greeted with a water bowl and a large treat... great decor. Great place and very friendly staff.
