A nice little local bar, just outside the main shopping area - there is a nice comfortable cosy area at the back of the bar that is good to hang out in with friends and catch up.
The Tap remains the best pub in Morpeth if you want a selection of well kept real ales, and it has a charm that is best described as traditional bar. The lounge is host to live music on Sunday afternoons, provided by local folk music enthusiasts. It is a proper pub!
Great wee find of a pub, lots of choice. Won lots of awards over the decades. Wee pit stop whilst walking around was perfect
Traditional pub with a real, friendly welcome. A decent range of real ales, a small menu but all homecooked and excellent value for money (I recommend the ham)Lounge is two steps down from the bar, access from the street is a small step (wheelchair crossed it no problem). No disabled loo.
